Question about lean manufacturing

Hi:
I am in the process of implementing a lean manufacturing project for the small company where I work, honestly I been visiting the engitek site lean manufacturing section, and found good information, however I would like to have firsthand advice from people that actually have had implemented some systems and from where is better to start, I am planning to start by implementing a 5S program, any other suggestion and why?

Actually it is the best starting point, you have to start by implementing order and neatness, but before you do be sure that all employees receive the basic training in 5S and explain the purpose of it, assure the support of your upper management team.
